Born in 1992, PARK Yun-jin majored in filmmaking at Chung-Ang University, where she made the short fiction film <Perfect Marathon> (2016). When she had to prepare her graduation project, she took part in an independent documentary workshop and felt like filming the people who, like her, are still populating the servers of Elancia, a 20-year-old Korean massive multiplayer online role-playing game that has not been updated since 2008. The resulting documentary, <People in Elancia> , which she mostly filmed “in-game”, won the grand prize at Indieforum Emerging Documentary Filmmaker Award from the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival.
