Decision to Leave, Nominated for AWARDS BUZZ, the Best International Feature Film Category

On December 20 (local time), the Palm Springs International Film Festival announced a list of the 34th film festival schedule and screenings on its official website. Among them, a total of 4 Korean movies were invited, including Director Park Chanwook's Decision to Leave, Director Kore-eda Hirokazu's Broker, Director Jung July’s Next Sohee, and Director Kim Jungeun's Gyeongah's Daughter

The Palm Springs International Film Festival, which began in 1990, is one of the largest film festivals in North America. Since it is held every January, the film festival is considered a prelude to the Academy Awards. Last year, Director Ryoo Seungwan's Escape from Mogadishu drew attention by winning the Local Jury Award.

Decision to Leave has been nominated for the AWARDS BUZZ, the Best International Feature Film Competition section. Director Kore-eda Hirokazu's Broker will be screened in the Modern Masters section, which introduces new films by master directors, while Next Sohee and Gyeongah’s Daughter will be screened in the World Cinema Now section, which will screen new films around the world.

The 34th Palm Springs International Film Festival will be held from January 5 to 16, 2023. The film awards ceremony will be held at the Palm Springs Convention Center on January 5, and the screening will begin on Friday, January 6.
