Undercover Punch and Gun is about undercover police infiltrating a drug smuggling organization. USA-born Taiwanese actor Van Ness WU, Hong Kong actors Philip NG and Andy ON are playing the lead roles.
Jia is known to play a female sniper named Phatom. Phatom is the drug smuggling organization boss' girlfriend. She plays a woman who endures the pain of betrayal and shows unconditional love for her betraying boyfriend.
Written by Frankie TAM and directed by Philip LUI Koon-Nam, the film has finished production in early August and the team had a press conference for the movie on 8 July.
"I didn't have much chance to act with the fellow actors, but I watched them acting and thought they were excellent as they have spent years acting. I could learn a lot from them," said Jia at an interview with a Chinese media.
Undercover Punch and Gun will be first released in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
