NOODLE FISH Wins Animation Award at Warsaw
KIM Jin-man’s short animation Noodle Fish won the Best Animated Short award at the 28th Warsaw Film Festival. This 10-minute-long animation about a fish, which was made using noodles, received the Best Animated Short award in the ’Short Films Competition’ section at the awards presentation of the festival held on October 20th (CET).
At the Warsaw Film Festival held in Poland's capital from October 12th th 21st, about 100 films including shorts, feature films, documentaries and animations from all over the world were featured. Noodle Fish received positive notices for its innovative use of noodles and strong story.

A naive little fish embarks on a journey outside the water, as he thinks it is the only way to become a grown-up. One day he happens to hear the world's secret and takes on a challenge to seek out freedom. What is the world outside the water like?

Kim Jin-man: Born in 1975. After graduating from Hongik University with a BFA in sculpture and visual design, he received an MFA from the Art & Technology Department of Chungang University. He has been making stop-motion animations with various objects at the B01 Studio.
