The Museum of Modern Art(MoMA), a world-renowned establishment for modern art, will screen 12 Korean films. The title of the event is ‘Yeonghwa: Korean Film Today’ and it will begin on the 19th September until the 30th at the Roy and Niuta Titus Theater 1 and 2. The event’s sponsor, Hyundai Card, says the showcase is organized by MoMA and the Korea Society with the aim of letting New Yorkers know more about the rising status and quality of Korean cinema. What's interesting is that the title features the Korean word for ‘film’, ‘Yeonghwa’.
