Born in 1990, Jeong Jaegwang majored in drama and film at Chung-Ang University and has appeared in more than 50 independent films starting with <Scouting Report> (2015). On the year he graduated, he won the Indie Star Award of the Seoul Independent Film Festival for his lead role in the short <Blood and Bones> (2016). He moved to television in 2017, with a first role in the mystery series <Save Me> (2017). Following brief appearances in the surprise hit thriller <The Witness> (2018) and the comedy sensation <Extreme Job> (2019), Jeong landed the male lead role, starring alongside Chun Woohee, in the feature film <Vertigo> (2019). He was then offered a supporting role in in <The Roundup> (2020), the much-expected follow-up to <THE OUTLAWS> (2017) that was eventually released in 2022, and he could also be seen in the hit drama series <It’s Okay to Not Be Okay> (2020). In 2021, Director Lee Junggon offered him top billing in his feature debut <Not Out> (2021), a film he wrote specifically with the actor in mind after he was impressed by his performance while on the set for <Blood and Bones>.
