She completed a film directing course at the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) in 2015, and one of the shorts she made there, <Boiler>, received the Jury’s Prize in the national competition of the GwangHwaMun International Short Film Festival. With the help of KAFA’s first feature production program, she made in 2021 her feature debut with <The Cave>, which premiered at the Seoul Independent Film Festival.
