KIM’s big break came in 2013, when he took part in the ensemble cast of the teen drama <School 2013>. He then rocketed to stardom, appearing alongside LEE Min-ho in <The Heirs> as a rebellious hotel chain heir. Endorsements and many acting offers followed. KIM’s first big screen role was a small part in <Runway Cop> (2012) but his leading man debut came in gangster sequel <Friend: The Great Legacy>, which became a hit 12 years after the original set records at the box office. KIM was back in theaters the following year as the charismatic lead in the caper film <The Con Artists>, as an expert safecracker who heads a team of thieves. KIM Scored another hit in 2015 by appearing in the coming-of-age comedy <Twenty>, alongside KANG Ha-nuel and LEE Jun-ho. Around the film’s release, he was also announced as the first Asian model to represent Calvin Klein, testifying to his increasing global popularity.
