Born in 1983, LEE Kyu-hyung began attending the drama club of his middle school and went on with a theatre degree from Dongguk University. After debuting in Seoul Police’s company Whistle Theater, he played in musicals and started making short appearances in films like <Castaway on the Moon> (2009) and <The Face Reader> (2013). He then took on weightier roles in <The Wicked> (2014), <My Dictator> (2014) and <YOU CALL IT PASSION> (2015), but it was his role of chief prosecutor in the 2017 series <Stranger> that brought him to wider notice. He followed it up the same year with another lauded performance in the series <Prison Playbook>. While still active on stage, with notable credits in the <Cyrano> in 2017 and <Hedwig and the Angry Inch> in 2019, LEE continued to seek roles on the big screen. He recently appeared in the courtroom dramas <Innocent Witness> (2019) and <Juror 8> (2019), as well as in the 2020 thriller <Diva> (2020).
