His first role as a full-fledged actor in a feature film was in KIM Tae-yong’s indie drama film <MISBEHAVIOR> (2015). He gained critical recognition in 2016 for his lead performance in KIM Ki-duk’s thriller <THE NET> (2016) and won the Directors Week Best Actor Award at Fantasporto. Particularly busy in 2018, he played in no less than four films, including the indie drama <In Between Seasons>, as the lead, and blockbuster period piece <Feng Shui>, in a supporting role. He also studied film art at Konkuk University.
