SEO Young-joo hasn’t been active for a long time but there’s not doubt that he’s already left a strong impression on viewers. Getting his start at age 10 in YOO Ha’s erotic period thriller <A Frozen Flower> (2008), SEO was next seen in the thriller <Bloody Innocent> (2010) but it was with his next film that he really made his mark. Following its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012, <Juvenile Offender> has received rapturous praise and netted the SEO two Best Actor awards, from the Tokyo International Film Festival and the Cinemanila International Film Festival. There’s no doubt that the young thespian has a bright future ahead of him. The young star distinguished himself yet again the following year by starring in KIM Ki-duk’s controversial <Moebius>, a film without a single line of dialogue that played out of competition at the Venice International Film Festival.
