Director AHN Jae-huun is an animation director who started his career as an animator and founded one of the first animation studios which applied systematic production pipeline in South Korea. His studio, Meditation With a Pencil, creates films under the ideal of "drawings that cure, colours that touch one's heart ".
AHN's directorial debut goes all the way back to 1998 with his short <One Day of Hitchcock>. The story follows the famed film director Alfred Hitchcock and we see his films cleverly intertwining with his daily life. This short film has won several awards in Korea and was selected for many international film festivals, putting the young director’s name “AHN Jae-huun” out there. His next short film <Innocent Joy> was a cell animation. AHN is also working on more grand and diverse projects. Following <Green Days>, which was the 'Past' chapter of his Time Trilogy, his future projects consist: <Thousand Years Together: Saraoreum>, representing 'Present', and <Asia> which represents 'Future'.
