In 2007, she both appeared in IM Sang-soo’s literary drama <The Old Garden> and served as a writer on the film. Her own feature directing debut came in 2008 with the romantic comedy <Lovers of 6 Years>, which she also wrote. The film starred KIM Ha-neul and YOON Kye-sang and was a hit, drawing in over one million admissions. The film went on to screen at the Fukuoka Asian Film Festival and received a Popular Star Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. PARK next co-directed <Romantic Movement In Seoul> with KIM Cheol-ha in 2010.
Switching her focus to television, PARK next worked as one of the writers on the show <Color of Women> in 2011. In 2013 she directed an episode of the mini web series <Remarkable Woman>, which featured rising indie stars CHUN Woo-hee and AHN Jae-hong. Returning to the big screen, PARK assemble a top cast, which included YOO Ah-in, KIM Joo-hyuk, KANG Ha-neul, E Som, CHOI Ji-woo and LEE Mi-yeon for the romantic omnibus drama <Like for Likes>, which was produced by JK Film and released early in 2016.
