HAN Ye-ri is known for her charismatic acting and innocent face. She has steadily expanded her acting spectrum by appearing in the drama <Road No. 1> and the movies <Paju>, <Ghost> and <Read My Lips>. Though she is still not well-known to the public, she is a celebrity in the field of independent film, having won acting awards twice at the Mise-en-scene Short Film Festival in 2008 and 2010. In 2011, she won a Grand Prize in the Berlin International Film Festival Short Film Section for the movie <Anyang, Paradise City>. HAN broke into the commercial sphere with sports drama <As One> in early 2012 and subsequently appeared in <South Bound>, <Commitment> and <The Spy: Undercover Operation> in 2013. That same year she was also one of the leads in the indie drama <Dear Dolphin>. 2014 was another year of blockbusters for HAN, as she landed parts in <Kundo: Age of the Rampant> and <Sea Fog>, produced by BONG Joon-ho. Next up for her was a role in the ZHANG Lu anthology <Love and…> and then the romantic drama <Love Guide for Dumpees> alongside YOON Kye-sang. In 2016 she teamed up with ZHANG again for <Chunmong>.
