Nana, born Lim Jinah in 1991, is a K-pop singer-turned-actress. She debuted as a model and even took part in the Asia Pacific Super Model Contest in 2009. The same year, she was selected to join the K-pop group After School, and the next year she one of the three members who formed the sub-unit Orange Caramel. She continued to juggle her singing and modelling career, with the latter allowing her to participate in several events in Japan. The year 204 saw her reach a wider audience when she joined the reality TV show <Roommate> and take part in a fashion competition show in China. Although she had a cameo playing herself in the K-pop industry-set horror film <White: Melody of Death> (2011) and another bit role in <Fashion King> (2014), it was in China that she started her acting career in earnest. In 2015, after landing a supporting role in the romantic fantasy series <Love Weaves Through a Millenium>, the Chinese remake of a Korean series that premiered on Hunan TV, she starred in the romcom film <Go Lala Go 2> (2015). Back in Korea, she was cast in the Korean version of the hit US series <The Good Wife>. She reunited with <The Good Wife> star Yoo Jitae in the crime film <The Swindlers> (2017), playing one of the con artists tasked by a prosecutor to track down a legendary fraudster, a role for which she received a Best New Actress nomination at the Baeksang Arts Awards. After starring in the legal drama series <Justice>, she received a lot of notice for her female lead role in the drama series <Memorials>, with broadcaster KBS awarding her an Excellence Award. In 2022, she came back on the big screen starring in the mystery thriller <Confession> and the Netflix series <Glitch>.
