CHOI Ha-won

Director

Born in 1937. In high school and university, he participated in thetrical plays. His first script A Draw Gamewas written when he compulsorily served in the military. Since his directorial debut Trees Stand on Slopeadopted from a novel with the same name in 1968, he directed more than 20 feature films until 1990. He fostered younger generation at Dankook Universirty and Korean Academy of Film Arts.
