In 2008, she played CHOI Eun-young in the SBS drama <Star’s Lover> and was adored by spectators. Later, she showed her specialized acting ability by playing roles in <Doctor Champ> and <Royal Family>, with also raising her profile by appearing in various commercials. In 2011, CHA pushed further into the film realm with a supporting role in the monster feature <Sector 7> and as one of the leads in the women’s youth film <Little Black Dress>. She stuck to the romantic genre for her next two films, <Plan Man> and <The Actress Is too Much>, both released in 2014. CHA next took on one of the leading roles in <Exorcist>, the new film from KIM Hwi, based on a mystery-horror book by SHIN Jin-o.
