CHO Chang-ho first feature film, <The Peter Pan Formula>(2005), was invited to the Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin Film Festival simultaneously and was awarded the Jury’s Selection award at Deauville Asian Film Festival. The film, which depicted the growing pain of a 19-year-old man with a lyrical touch, received critical acclaim in Korea, and CHO was touted as an up-and-coming film director with much potential who showed his own unique language of film. This was perhaps possible thanks to CHO’s studies in directing at Seoul Institute of the Arts and his experience as on <Three Friends>(1999), <Birdcage Inn>(1998), <Interview>(2000), and <Bad Guy>(2001) and alongside the likes of [YIM Soon-rye] and [KIM Ki-duk], who are known for their uniqueness and originality.
