He is a familiar face on both the big and small screen and is recognizable for his many roles, often as fathers or police officers. Some of his notable screen credits include SON Il-gon’s Spider Forest (2004), Running Wild (2005) and Cinderella (2006). In 2010 he became even more prominent for his roles in The Recipe and The Yellow Sea and next received plaudits for his excellent turn in 2011’s indie hit Bleak Night. He was very busy in 2012, appearing in four films including the popular thriller Helpless and the big-budget R2B: Return to Base. Up next for him in 2013 are the thrillers Classmate and Suspect.
