He moved to cinema quickly thereafter, with a first appearance as a minor character in the 1995 film <Rehearsal>, followed by his television debut in the 1996 drama series <A Night of a Thousand Dreams>. In 2000, JUNG Woong-In played a role in the sitcom <3 Friends> as a guy who looks neat but actually has many flaws and was recognized by many people for his affable performance. The same year, he was cast as a supporting character in KIM Jee-woon’s <The Fool King> (2000). In 2003, JUNG appeared in the movie <Raising My Dad> as a subpar nightclub MC. This role helped JUNG establish himself as a more serious actor, and in 2008, JUNG’s role as a gentle, well mannered, and romantic man in the series <Last Scandal> captivated many spectators.
