After graduating from the Korean Academy of Film Arts, JUNG Young-heon participated in several commercial features as an assistant director and worked as a director of cinematography on various pictures. His short Hard-boiled Jesus won the Best Director Prize at the Korean Short Film Competition of the 2012 Jeonju IFF. His feature debut Lebanon Emotion won a CGV Movie Collage Prize at Jeonju IFF in 2013.
