LEE finished both her bachelor’s and master’s degree at Chungang University with a major in visual arts. She made three shorts including <My Zombie Boy> (2006) which was invited to Mise-en-scene's Short Film Festival. She also worked as an editor for a feature documentary <Sogyumo Acacia Band Story> (2009) and a scripter for a commercial film <A Company Man> (2012). <Shuttlecock> is her debut film.
