LEE Yong-ju was born in Seoul in 1970 and studied architecture at Korea's Yonsei Univeristy.
He both wrote and directed <Architecture 101>, his second feature. In 2009 he made his feature debut with the thriller <Living Death>, also based on his screenplay. In 2003, he worked in the directing department for BONG Joon-ho’s <Memories of Murder>.
