Following her debut in <Emperor of the Sea> LEE Yeon-Hee then appeared in <My Precious Child> and <Resurrection> in which she was able to strengthen her acting. In 2006, she starred in <A Millionaire’s First Love> as the leading actress which earned her much recognition as a newcomer on the scene. That same year in the drama <One Fine Day> she was able to handle Koo Hyo-Ju’s confident and lively character. She gained a number of new fans as a result. Subsequently she has starred in movies such as <My Love>, and <Hello, Schoolgirl> and in 2008 she starred in <East of Eden> in which she reached the apex of stardom. In 2010 along with TVXQ’s SHIM Chang-Min, she starred in <Paradise Ranch> gaining notice as a fashion icon. In February 2011, she held an exhibition of her own photography taken while she was overseas. Largely active on the small screen, LEE made time for a supporting part in KANG Je-gyu’s WWII blockbuster <My Way> (2011). She next appeared in the multi-strand romantic comedy <Marriage Blue> (2013). In 2015 she appeared as the lead female character in the period action-comedy sequel <Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island>, alongside KIM Myung-min and OH Dal-su, which bowed during the Lunar New Year.
