That year she also made her TV debut, starring in the show <Say You Love Me>, which also afforded her a Best New Actress nomination from the MBC Drama Awards.
The next year she played JUNG Joon-ho's love interest in <The Twins>, and then featured as a beguiling young swordsman in <Shadowless Sword>. Remaining with television for the next few years, she appeared in several shows, reaching a peak when she earned the New Star Award from the SBS Drama Awards for her part in <Glass Castle>. Around this time, So-yi also became involved in charity work with Join Together Society, a Seoul-based buddhist society. In 2010, she returned to the big screen in <Try to Remember>, a romantic fantasy which debuted at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Following several other TV roles roles or MC gigs on the small screen, So-yi began to engage in the independent field when she teamed up with filmmaker SHIN Yeon-shick in 2014 for the mystery <The Avian Kind>, which debuted at the Jeonju International Film Festival. She collaborated with SHIN again on his next project, the omnibus title <Like a French Film>.
