As the CEO, he has supervised the visuals effects in <May 18> and <A Man Who Was Superman>. Deeming the Chinese film market interesting in terms of production scale and quality, he joined hands with veteran CG supervisor Frankie Chung in 2008 to set up in Hong Kong Kinomotive Studio. Starting with <Future X-Cops> (2010), he has been in charge of the visual effects of many Chinese-language blockbusters, such as Taiwanese film <The Treasure Hunter> (2009) or Tsui Hark’s <Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame> (2010). He has signed in 2008 a memorandum of agreement with the government of Gwangju to promote the city as an international hub for the CGI industry.
