KIM Mee-Sook debuted as an actress in 1979 in the drama <Dong Shim Cho> and has been acting for 33 years. She has mainly appeared in dramas, but also has experience acting on the silver screen prior to the 1990’s. She returned to the movie industry 20 years later with <Marathon>, the most popular movie during the first half of the year 2005, and she was nominated for various awards. Then, for the first time, she took the role of a villain in SBS’s drama <Shining Inheritance> in 2009 and met another period of prosperity by receiving the Top Excellence Award at the 2009 SBS Drama Awards. Since then, she has been active by performing in <My Love By My Side>, <Definitely Neighbors>, <A Good Day For The Wind To Blow>, and <City Hunter>. She has forged a reputation as one of Korea’s finest actress for matriarchal characters.
