Attracting 18,000 Fans, TWICE’s Second World Tour Film to be Released Later This Year
Korean wave girl group TWICE’s world tour will hit the big screens as their agency JYP Entertainment and CJ CGV plan to launch the film version of TWICE’s world tour, TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park.
TWICELAND ZONE 2: Fantasy Park, the group’s second world tour, was sold out with a total of 18,000 tickets. JYP Entertainment will produce the group’s world tour for CGV’s ScreenX theaters, which are equipped with a multi-projection system. The upcoming film’s title, TWICE Land, is inspired by their world tour’s name.
“This film shot scenes of the actual concerts in the panoramic ScreenX format to make audiences feel as if they’re actually there watching the performance,” the agency said. “It will also unveil the members’ charms and personal sides by providing behind the scene footage from TWICE’s overseas tours in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and more.”
