LEE Jae-kyoo’s upcoming comedy-drama revolves around four couples that go on a trip together and decide to reveal all of their messages and phone calls from their mobile phones. It is based on Italian film
Perfect Strangers, which won the Best Screenplay Award in the International Competition category of the 38th Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF). In addition to
LEE Seo-jin and
SONG Ha-yoon, other cast members include veteran actors and actresses such as
YOO Hae-jin,
CHO Jin-woong,
YUM Jung-ah and
KIM Ji-soo. The Korean version of
Perfect Strangers will be the first film directed by
LEE Jae-kyoo in four years after
The Fatal Encounter (2014). Director LEE is best known for his previous TV series such as
The King 2 Hearts (2012),
Beethoven Virus (2008) and
Damo (2003).
Meanwhile, actress SONG is known for appearing in TV series such as
Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School (2003),
