UHM Ji-won & KONG Hyo-jin Pair Up for MISSING CHILD

Actresses UHM Ji-won and KONG Hyo-jin are teaming up for the first time on Missing Child, the first film in nine years from …ing (2003) director E.oni (aka LEE Eon-hee). Shooting on the kidnap drama began last month and is expected to last three months. UHM will play a woman who is divorcing her husband and working hard to raise her daughter. She entrusts her child to a babysitter (played by KONG) who one day disappears with her.

Last seen in The Silenced, UHM has drawn acclaim for her roles in HONG Sangsoo films such as Like You Know It All (2009) and her award-winning turn in LEE Joon-ik’s drama Hope (2013). Meanwhile, KONG has criss-crossed between indie and commercial fare, appearing in LEE Myung-Se’s M (2007), LEE Kyoung-mi’s Crush And Blush (2008) and more recently SONG Hae-sung’s Boomerang Family (2013). Both have recently been active on the small screen and joining them will be character actor KIM Hee-won and PARK Hae-joon.

Director of the classic teen romance …ing, E.oni last stepped behind the camera for 2007’s romantic comedy Love Exposure, not to be confused with SONO Sion’s 2008 film of the same name. Missing Child is being produced by Dice Film (No Tears for the Dead) and will be distributed by Megabox Plus M.
