A film depicting the story of a middle-aged man and woman who meet by chance on a journey along the Yeongdong Line, each carrying the weight of their own pain and worries. Their encounter, seemingly incidental, unfolds into something quietly profound. Two strangers, both seeking escape, board the same train and set off on solitary paths – unaware that fate has other plans. Years of endurance have left quiet aches in their hearts, but as the vast blue sea opens before them and the wind stirs long-buried memories, something begins to shift. With no one to lean on, they share a quiet drink – just a glass of soju and beer – and slowly begin to seep into each other’s lives. That night, under the soft haze of alcohol and connection, they feel a flicker of something forgotten: the heartbeat of their youth. “So I still have a smile left in me after all.”
