Enjoy Jecheon City’s Festival of Music and Film at Home!
The
Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) recently kicked off its 13th edition. Throughout the years, the festival has introduced local audiences to Korean music films like
Golden Chariot in the Sky (2014) as well as international music films such as
Once and
Searching for Sugar Man. JIMFF, which focuses on music and film, weaves melodies with the romantic groove of summer against the backdrop of the beautiful Lake Cheongpungho in Jecheon.
KoBiz’s Online Screening service, which has been collaborating with Korea’s main film festivals, will feature noted, local music films selected for this year’s JIMFF. The service offers viewers the chance to see a wonderful selection of music related films at their convenience, regardless of time or location. The screening service will provide access to features and shorts in the Korean Music Film Now section, as well as films from the festival’s World Music Film Today international competition section.

LIM Jun-hyun’s documentary
My Umma, which follows a group of adoptees looking for their biological parents while performing street concerts together in Korea.
KIM Ji-hye’s
Hologram Universe, which was screened at the Korean Music Film Now, recollects the past and reveals the new challenges facing two brothers who were once a famous folk duo. Additionally, many music films from various genres of music will be available for cineastes and music fans alike, including
LIM Chan-ik and
CHO Youn-soo’s
DGK BAND which portrays top directors organizing a band to perform at JIMFF and
HYUN Young-ae’s
I Want Zero.G which is about Zero.G, a glam metal band outside of the mainstream.
Festival Screening: JIMFF 2017 will be available from August 17th at
screening.koreanfilm.or.kr and will also include a sensible short film lineup and more!
