Student animated feature The House will appear in France at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. The 85 minute feature was made by students of the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) affiliated with the Korean Film Council. The film tells the tale of beautiful house loving Ga-young who moves to an old town marked for demolition. There she meets Zipsin, spirit of a house and together go on a mission to find a new leader and save the town from demolition.
The Annecy International Animated Film festival has been running since 1960 and is considered by many to be the world's most prestigious competitive event for animated films. The House is playing in its competitive feature section. The film, which was released March 17, is distributed by CJ Entertainment.
