Ohgu-Gut is a shamanic ritual in which a shaman or exorcist comforts the soul of the dead and prays for their smooth passage into eternity. It is a festival for the living and the dead and essential art tradition in the history of festivals of Korea. The camera calmly follows the footsteps of Mr. Heo’s friends and the procedure of Ohgugut through which a soul of the dead is being brought into the world of the living.
