Yun-gil, living in an inner-city slum of Seoul and barely earning daily bread by selling fish, is at risk of losing home. The slum is about to be demolished for the New Town Project, and some hoodlums are looking for him, threatening for forced removal. He doesn't have money to find a new place; he doesn't have families or relatives to ask for help, but his mentally disabled son.
