An aged couple, Hwa-jung and Soon-hyuk, are the parents of a son and three daughters. The family gets together on the first New Year’s Day after the death of their only son, Young-min. Hwa-jung wants to spend the New Year’s as any other New Year’s Day in the past, but hidden feelings surface in the family with Young-min’s absence.
