Puppy and Robot meet some day in the future when environmental pollution has become serious. The robot continues repeating the same movements meaninglessly. The puppy watches beside him. After a while, the robot finds light green sprouts in the trash pile. The robot makes something with scrap iron. As he does this, his arms are cut out of his shoulders but he doesn't care and continues his work. Eventually what he produces is a drop of water made out of factory trash. The robot moves the water drop above the thin bud carefully and he uses up the last of his energy and meets his end. To the sound of the puppy's weeping, red buds are put forth.
