KIMHyun-pil) is the story of an orphan girl, who, unable to pay her electricity bills, dies because ofthe fire candle lights caused while sleeping. “GaP” (Dir. LEE Mi-yeon) exposes gender inequalityin a young family. “A Tough Life” (Dir. NOH Dong-seok) deals with racial discrimination from the perspective of school children. “BomBomBomB!!!!” (Dir. KIM Gok/ KIM Sun) treats prejudices against “queer” teenagers. Ma-taik likes Ma-sun, both of them play musical instruments- Mataik plays the bass and Ma-sun plays the drum. Will they be able to perform together without anyprejudice? “An Ephemeral Life” (Dir. HONG Ki-seon) deals about the unfair treatment for nonregular workers. DOH drives a forklift at a factory. After receiving an urgent message saying that mother is in critical condition, he asks for a leave of absence yet it is not granted. He can’t even borrow the bible from the library because of his position.
