There was a time when Dae-shik was a well-known mountaineer with dreams of climbing the Himalayas, but now he lives off the streets. Suk-won takes to the streets as if to escape from his life. Plummeting stock prices have dragged him down with them. He cannot even afford a bottle of booze, and his wife becomes a total stranger. He exchanges his Rolex watch, his symbol of success, for 10 bottles of soju and collapses in the streets. It is a day just like any other day for Il-joo, a day filled with drinking, dancing and having sex with total strangers, and getting by on drugs. A coffee order comes in from some odd customers out on the beach so she goes out on delivery. There she hears the sound of the sea beckoning to her, so she follows the sound out into the water. Dae-shik rescues the struggling Il-joo, and brings her back to land. After her recovery, she finds herself feeling attracted to him. Suk-won, who has been depending on Dae-shik to stay alive, reluctantly agrees to accompany him on a trip. Il-joo determinedly tags along, so the three of them set out on a journey to nowhere.
