Meanwhile, the neighboring Philistines declares war on the Jews. Goliath, the champion of philistines, suggests a one-on-one dual with a champion of Israelites. Young David answers the challenge and defeats Goliath with a single sling shot. This feat wins the trust of king Saul, and after numerous victories David is loved by all the people of Israel and also by the princess. However, king Saul becomes jealous and feels threatened by David, when the people praise him to the skies, and from then on, he plots to kill him, and David is forced to run, away from the palace, and away from the princess….
