A TV reporter, Hwang Hye-won asks Dr. Han for an interview who obtained a doctor's degree in engineering in America. She falls in love with him and asks for a marriage but Dr. Han turns it down. Incidentally, a car accident reveals that Hye-won has a fatal lung cancer.
