LittleBig Pictures was founded in 2013 between ten companies hoping to lead the film industry toward a more reasonable and creative direction by establishing a more equal platform for production companies. The ten companies are a mix of the top film productions of Korea - MYUNG FILMS, Chungeorahm Film, REALies Pictures, Samgeori Pictures, Jupiterfilm, filmmaker R&K , CAPER FILM – and publications such as CINE21 and Candle media, and the Korean Film Producers Association (KFPA).

In 2014, LittleBig Pictures distributed films such as <MOURNING GRAVE>, <CART>, <HOW TO STEEL A DOG>, and in 2015 released <SHOOT ME IN THE HEART> (the film adaptation of JEONG You-Jeong’s best-seller) and <REVIVRE> (master filmmaker IM Kwon-taek’s 102nd film, to much acclaim from internationally renowned film festivals). At 2015’s Cannes Film Festival, <MADONNA> was featured in the Un Certain Regard section of the festival and <OFFICE> was shown at the Midnight Screenings.
