2AM become Publicity Ambassadors at the 4th DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival
The 4th DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival (
DMZDOCS), organized by Gyeonggi Province and Paju City, selected boy band 2AM as this year’s publicity ambassadors. Since their debut in 2008, 2AM have released many hits and have solidified their position as a boy band with genuine musical talent. The fact that their debut single reached #3 on Japan's Oricon pop music chart shows their international popularity and potential for outreach. They also appeared in the documentary
Beyond the One Day-Story of 2PM & 2AM along with affiliated boy band 2PM.
CHO Jae-hyun, director of DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival said he believes that, “2AM will lighten the rather heavy tone of our DMZ-associated festival with their healthy and friendly image,” adding that he feels confident that 2AM will personify the aim of the DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival -- communicating more closely with the audience.
2AM will take part in the fest's late August press conference, where the line-up and festival trailer will be unveiled. The 4th DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival will open on September 21st and continue to the 27th at Paju Book City, Gyeonggi Province.
