  • AISFF accepting applications for its pre-production funding program

    The Asiana International Short Film Festival (AISFF) will soon begin accepting applications for its pre-production funding program. AISFF, Korea’s biggest and oldest short film festival, announced that it will accept application for the AISFF Fund Project from August 20-31. To be eligible, the applicant has to be a Korean individual or group with a short film project of up to 30 minutes. The applicant also needs to have previously completed at least one short film. There is no restrictions pertaining to the genre or format of the short film. Those interested should visit the festival’s website at www.aisff.org, download the relevant form and fill it out. The selected project will receive an award of up to KRW 10 million and the project will make its world premiere at the 2013 AISFF. The Fund Project was set up in 2005 with the aim of promoting and supporting Korean short filmmakers and the number of applications has risen year after year. This year’s AISFF, a festival of excellent short films from Korea and abroad, will run November 1st until the 6th at Cinecube in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
